WORKSHOPS (Winter 2019)

ages 16 to adult

Come and have fun pouring paint! You will learn three different recipes for a “dirty” pour painting and how to use your leftover paints for other artwork and crafts. We will supply one canvas, vinyl gloves, glue, silicone, and all the paint required. Your paintings may take a few days to dry, so you won’t be able to take them home right away. We will make arrangements for a pick-up date with you at the end of the workshop. You will need to bring a large shallow plastic container to pour into (minimum dimensions 23"L x 16”W x 6”H) and any other surfaces that you would like to pour paint on. (For example: watercolour paper, canvas, primed wood, tile, cardboard, vases, etc.) Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. This workshop may be messy!

Using a palette knife you will create a unique and textured painting. You can bring a photo of the subject you wish to paint. This is a very loose style of painting that is a lot of fun. You can create an abstract painting or an impressionist style of painting. Above all, you will have fun!
